I always consider how the garden will relate to both the architecture of the house and the surrounding environment.

Within this context I then aim to create interesting outdoor spaces that flow together and offer a chance to follow different routes round the garden.

The choice of materials and plants is vital. The whole mood can be changed by a different selection of plants. Therefore as part of my garden design service I gain an understanding of the overall atmosphere that you want to achieve in your garden.

Planting is chosen to give year round interest whilst reflecting the changing seasons. Attracting wildlife into the garden is also seen as important.
